Synthetic.....clear smoke?

Read a weird one today and wanted to run it by everybody. In this post

https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...ighlight=smoke

it says that normal oil burns blue but that synthetic oil burns clear? I have never heard of synthetic oil burning clear but I have never actually tried. I have heard on cars that burn oil it may be better to run conventional oil because you will not burn as much. Anyway.... anyone have any real experiance input on this? Thanks,
Tyler

If it burned clear, how would you know, if it's clear you can't see it

BTW, I run syn Mobil 1 and was burning oil and it was blue.

LOL, just checked the post, that was mine

Yeah it was your post I figured it would burn blue also. Hmmm maybe buisness idea for the **** scene...... oil that burns any color you want; red, blue, yellow, purple, etc. Should go really well with those tips with the led lights in them Anyway, guess the old hoopty truck will leave a blue trail for a little while longer, thanks

Synthetic oil does burn sort of clear compared to regular oil. It really depends on the synthetic, but the ones I've seen have had a bluish tint.
