Header?????

Does Edelbrock or SLP offer any of their headers without all the emissions stuff? Or who makes a good set without the emissions hook up that comes with the Y-pipe?

Headman makes an excellent set w/out the smog. They also make the matching y-pipe to go w/ the short headers. I have both and they are good quality and were pretty cheap. 200 bucks for the headers and y-pipe.

Hooker also sells an excellent set of non-emisions shorty headers and Y-pipe.

SLP offers their headers with out the AIR tubes.
Go to http://www.slponline.com/slpperforma...yspecials.html

Scroll down towards the bottom and you will see them.
It is part Number 30005 for the 1 3/4", the cost is $399.95.
I have the whole system on my 84 Z-28 but the headers have the Air tubes, I just blocked them off with a pipe cap.
They sound and work great, and I would recommend them to anyone.
