Part #s for electric fan assembly?
Part #s for electric fan assembly?
Does anyone have a parts book that lists the part numbers used for the electric fan assembly on a '84 T/A? Long ago when I first bought the car it had problems in the summer running for the first few minutes after startup after having sat hot for a while (percolation in the carb). The factory/dealer fix for this was to remove the electric fan assembly & shroud and replace it with a regular fan and shroud. IMHO it never really made an improvement, and I just wound up living with the problem.
I'm getting ready to tear the drivetrain out for a rebuild, and I'm thinking of restoring the fan setup it to the original configuration (the wiring is still there- just the mechanicals got changed out), but I'd like to get some part numbers and what years the parts were used so I can go junk yard shopping.
Thanks!

I dont know about your stock one, but why dont you just convert to a dual electric setup? Here are the details http://www.integrityonline5.com/metz...-Fan-Setup.htm
