Oil Coolers

How do you get rid of them and will this cause a problem.
Also is there a regular adapter out there to mount an oil filter on?:hail:

Just got rid of mine two weeks ago. The best way is to get a new sandwich adapter just incase the old one isnt in good condition (about $30.99 at summit racing)TRD-1322, this will save you from leaks. This is for small block chevy. You dont need to drain the oil or antifreeze but some antifreeze will leak out of the lines. Be prepared. Next plug the two hole on the new adapter with 3/8 NPT fittings. I just got some at home depot. Use a sealent on the threads. Do this outside of the car its easier. HAHA I fogot to plug the holes and started the car - what a mess!!! Thats pretty much it. Just follow the two lines that had the antifreeze back to their sources, I believe its the radiator and possibly water pump or intake and plug those holes. DONE
