Will teflon tape stand up to atf?
i have a slight tranny leak around my lower trans line on my th350.. it is tight but it appears that it leaks around the threads.. could i just slap some teflon tape on it or will the atf eat it? is so would some atf rtv work if i put it on the threads and give it a while to set up?

It may...that's a tapered/flared fitting, should be no need for Teflon tape...probably the fitting in the tank or on the line has damge and should be replaced.
