Well I suspected a fuel filter, replaced it to find that wasn't the problem. The car stutters and surges when accelerating and I have run out of things to check. Could it be a bad O2 sensor or fuel pump? I plan to check the timing again and the fuel pressure the week. Do these symptoms lead to anything else? Where is the shrader valve on the fuel rail and how much can I expect to pay for a fuel pressure gauge. Car has 52K. Thanks

 

not sure if it helps, but the car idles fine and will tool around town ok, but its when i'm heavy on the gas it feels like there is a miss or something.
