Leaking

i'm sure that n e one who has a 3rd gem f-body w/ t-tops has had leaking problems. i have an '87 T/A and when it rains, my roof leaks like there's no tomorrow. what's the best way to fix this. should i just install new factory weather stripping or is there a better after market solution?

C2,

You can start by cleaning the seals that are already installed. Clean out the accumulated dirt, debris, and flush out the channels that the seals mount into. If you read the owner's manual, you'll remember that you need to apply silicone grease to all the door, window, and hatch seals to keep them "live".

I'm sure I always do...and I'm still using the original 1986 seals.

BTW - The grease is GM P/N 12345579.
