Axle/Gears: 10 bolt 3.73

Distributor questions

I just bought and MSD distributor model #8489 and I need to know if it has to be used with a crank trigger system such as model number 8610.
I was under the impression that I could use this distributor without the crank trigger setup.
any help is very welcomed

Looks like you need a crank trigger with it.
