How much does a 9-bolt rear weigh?
I need to ship a BW 9-bolt rear, but I need to know how much it weighs to give the buyer an accurate shipping quote. So, can anyone tell me how much a fully dressed(has all brakes, axles, and fluid in it) 9-bolt disk rear weighs.?

I don't know (never weighed one) but they're lighter (but stronger) than a 12-bolt or Ford 9" axle. You could call Moser or DiffSolutions and ask.

You could try a bathroom scale. And why are you shipping it with fluid? That's extra weight that can easily be removed.

I wish it were stronger... MotorCityMuscle, how much did you get for the axle? I paid $200 for mine and Im just curious if I got a good deal.

Just checked a old freight bill for the shipping weight on the above and all it had was 200#'s. Just make sure it on a pallet for shipping.
