My mom was driving it. She claims she went in to deliver a jacket to one of her friends,she comes out,key in the ignition,nothing happens.
The car is dead. Nothing happens. Key in the ignition and NO sign of life. No lights,buzz or anything. Battery has a charge,and we had the alternator replaced. Im thinking its the wiring. It was rewired by the kid I bought it from and he did a poor job. Exposed wire and all that ****. Anywhere I might want to look first for pulled out wires or something keeping my camaro from coming to life?

 

Im thinking possibly the wiring into the fusebox,or up under the ignition somewhere...Anyone?

 

First things first. Check the headlights; if no light, check battery contacts- clean them thoroughly. Check lights again; still nothing? try the fusible link

also after all that check the ignition switch, not the key lock the actuall switch on the bottom of the column. Ive seen where the switch wither breaks, or the rod that connects to it comes loose. if the wiring has been messed with this is also a good thing to look for in this area. good luck
