Just installed 1.6 rockers
Took me roughly 3 hours. Really easy. Car seems to have gained some more power. Any questions feel free to ask.

I'm curious, but what kind did you get? I'm planning on getting a set of 1.6's for my car, but haven't decided on which ones to get.
What cam are you running? The 1.6's give you more lift? What kind of heads do you have on the motor. I'm asking because in your sig, you are running a 13.32ET. I would like to get my car down in that range. I have a carbed 355 in my 84 Z28 and am looking to make it quicker.
Thanks
Steve

I just got the stamped steel 1.6 rockers. No roller bearings, I have reasons but they are irrelevant right now.
Whatever is not mentioned in my mods list, as far as the engine, is stock 89' vette internals. It's just a 350 bored 10 over with stock roller cam, 3rd gen f-body/truck center bolt valve cover heads, 9.5:1 compression, and hyperutectic pistons. I think the reason my engine runs soo well is because it is properly matched.
The car has all pluses on it's side on it's side. It hooks well, shifts fast, is geared right, and never bogs or misses a beat, it also only weighs 3325 without driver and half tank gas.
I hope to get it in the 12's with stock heads, cam, no nitrous or supercharger.

Thanks for the info. I might get the Crane Energizer 1.6 full rollers for $169 through Summit.
My car is having a bogging problem that I believe is carb related. I have a 600 Edelbrock, that I may swap for something else. How is that Holley 650 DP running? My car is my daily driver. I drive it to work everyday. I don't know what I'm gonna get yet if I do swap it out.

I love my holley, lots of power. Bad part is my mileage went from 19 to 14 miles per gallon. It's a quadrajet replacement carb, hooks up to the stock setup, and it's a spread bore. If the engine is heated up I can floor it at basicly any rpm or gear and it doesn't bog.
