Compressor Clutch throwing oil.

I used my A/C for the first time yesterday, and when I looked under the hood last night, I noticed some oil leaking out of the front of the Clutch, and thrown onto the overflow tank, and hoodliner. I guessing this needs to be replaced?
What Im wondering is,
Is it only throwing oil when ac is running? (I never noticed any oil before)
Is all the oil going to leak out and this pully lockup on me when im driving?
Does the entire commpressor need to be replaced or can you just change the clutch?

Anyone have this happen before? Should I not be driving till this is fixxed?

Thanks everyone.

The compressor clutch does not contain any oil. If oil is being leaked from there, it is likely the front seal of the compressor, not the clutch. It is possible that some oil from another source has contaminated the clutch and AC hub, but that's less of a probability. To be more certain, you can use a degreaser (like Brakleen) to clean the oil from the front of the compressor and monitor it for further leakage. If the leakage continues, you'll likely have to repair or replace the compressor.

Thanks for the response

Not the news I wanted but thanks.

If by some way all the oil/grease leaks out whats the worst that will happen, other then a mess, (no A/C or will it lockup) only concerned cause of serp belt.

Whats cheaper A/C delete or replace?
