Commander 950 harness question
Commander 950 harness question
I have a question about the 1985-92 TPI engine Commander 950 engine management kit that Summit sells from Holley. It's part number HLY-950-101.
Does this harness completly replace the stock harness ?? I plan on running a StealthRam and I need a 90-92 SD harness, but I dont want to buy a 300 dollar harness from Painless wiring then have to replace it with the Holley one when I order the Commander 950 kit. Did anybody order this harness or know what I need to know ? Thanx

I've been seriously researching this myself as I may go this route too...yes the harness will replace the stock one because the Holley doesn't have hookups for emissions or TC lockup. Also the Holley harness is speed density so you don't need the Painless wiring harness.
You can also try asking on http://www.chevytalk.org/threads/pos...lapsed&sb=5&o=
Doug Flynn (the guy from Holley) is the moderator there and I've usually been able to find answers about the 950 by searching there. HTHs.
