Are you sure you bought all of the right parts? You could have possibly gapped the plugs wrong, but that is doubtful.

What kind of engine is it?

Did you forget to plug in wires that go to the distributor.

Make sure the plug wires are on right, if not, this will cause the car not to run. Find the fireing order and check the corespondence with the distributor cap. This is most likely the problem.

Good luck

I had the same problem with my car so i put it in the shop, wasnt easy for me to do, and it was the copper coil around the rotor under the distributor cap, it was fried so they had to replace it.

Check you firing order. You may have put the wires on wrong, and check you plugs, they could also be the wrong type.
