92 Z-28 Doesn't want to Idle

My 92 Z-28 does not want to idle when I come to a complete stop. It has ***** to the walls when I'm on the freeway but when I come to a stop I have to use the Brake and the Gas just so the car doesn't die out. I just changed my cap, rotor, spark plugs and wires about a week ago. Also I want to know if anyone knows if there is a relay for the starter. Sometimes the stater doesn't want to turn over the engine until the engine temp goes down below 160degrees. Please can anyone help me with this problems that I'm having?

There isn't any relay for the starter. Your problem with the starter may just be heat soak.

For the idle problem have you tried setting your TPI and your IAC? Are you getting any codes?

I have code 43 (Knock Sensor) only flashing and I just changed it back in early part of April 03.

Transmission: So close to being a manual I can taste it
Try and unplug the hose from the EVAP can to the throttle body. Just a guess based on a similar problem my Z once had.
