just wondering if any one has msd wires # 31839 which way does the 9 inch wire from coil to distributor go? it has two different ends.

 

The coil end terminal usually has a little deeper sealing boot than teh distributor end. Whichever end matches the other wires' distributor ends should sonnect to the distributor. It really doesn't matter a lot, as long as you get good contact and sealing.
