is this normal
is this normal
ok, after i put on my performer manifold, i kinda lost low end torque but gained ALOT of mid and upper rpm torque.....is that normal??? the lil adapter plate was 1 inch thick so, ..maybe the higher rise kills low end torque?? correct me if im wrong
Usually, it is the shorter, larger runners that reduce low-end torque. The larger runners lower the velocity of the intake charge at a given RPM, so cylinder charging at low RPM is reduced. You are compensated for that loss by gaining greater intake flow (and charging) at higher RPMs.

Thats normal. They are more tuned for top end performance than the factory manifold is.
