Exhaust question
have an 89 305 TPI trans am. a while ago my exhaust broke off at the cat. ever since my car has been stalling out after driving it a while. could the lack of exhaust be the problem?

why'd the exhaust break off? If the cat is damaged, it could be plugging up after driving and killing the motor. will it restart? does it have any power? disconnect at the manifolds when it gets hot and see if power improves
