Can I buy an AC-delete serpentine belt?

I picked up a set of serpentine belt brackets for my '86 Camaro the other day. I got everything that I need except for an alternator and the AC-delete pulley (I don't have air conditioning anymore). Is there a special length non-AC serpentine belt that I can use until I buy the pulley from GM?

Blue86,

You can purchase poly-V belts in almost any length in 10mm increments. Just stop shopping at auto parts stores and look at industrial power transmission suppliers. All you'll need to know is the number of ribs, section width, and length you want.

Hmm, good idea. Now, with that said, do you know approximately the length that I'd need? I'd imagine that it doesn't have to be super-accurate because the tensioner will supply the proper amount of pressure to the belt.

When I had to bypass the A/C on my 96 Camaro, I just measured the approx size with the stock belt and went to the parts store and bought 3 belts, each one longer in 1" increments, found the size I needed and returned the other 2.

Sounds like a good idea. I think that's what I'm going to do once I get my alternator.
