My air pump which went on my 91 305 Tbi is froze up, wont turn by hand. I wanna get a replacement. will v6 ones work also? Since I dont plan on connecting my air pollution junk to it anyway, is there a bracket out there that I can attach in the same holes as the pump and run with the stock pulley? Jegs and Summit says they only carry this part only with mustangs, not camaros.

There's one that covers removing the smog pump and re-routing your belt. You'll have to buy a longer belt. It even tells you what belt to get. Maybe this will help you.

 

Just take it off, open it up, and rebuild it. It is a vane type pump. It is very easy. Just clean it really well, lube it, and reassemble. Mine was the same way-- works like a champ now!
