Cam for Vortec heads

I just got my new motor put in and it has vortec heads. I was wondering whata good sized cam to put into without porting the heads. I plan on leaving the heads stock for now, I've done searches and they all seem to be for mildly ported vortec heads. Any help would be appreciated.

The 350 HO comes with vortec heads and a cam with 212/222 duration at 0.050 and 0.435/0.460 i/e lift using hydraulic flat tappet lifters. What are the details of your engine and what are your plans for it?

Why didn't you do the cam swap before install?

Stick to cams whose lift doesn't exceed .460. That's the safe limit for stock and Vortec heads.
