Ok now this motor is going to be supercharged and possibly have spray. What do you guys think and do you think it will hold up to the s/c and nos? Any additional info on changing things or mods appreciated

Well, i don't really know , but don't you think that the C/Ratio is a little high for a S/C. Of course if this is a strip only motor and you use 110 oct. no problem I think. 10 to 1 would be ok for the spray only.

WEll its going to be a street/strip car. Im only going to be driving it to the track, to school on nice days and crusing on the weekends. Its mostly going to be running on 94 octane and when im at the track is gonna be on 110. So do you think i should change the cam and the ratio?

yeah i agree with the super charger/ comp. ratio. this combo will probably hold it but it depends on how big the shot of nos is.

No I don't. I think that is a good combo for both street and strip. The only thing that conserns me is the 94 oct. on the street. Does your ign. system have a knock sensor? You will want to avoid deto at all cost with those hyperutechtic pistons. If that were my setup I would use forged pistons.

Bigger heads. 170cc are small.
Why 2 power adders?
why skimp out on pistons? Build the motor right the first time. Buy better (forged) pistons. Look into ROSS or JE.

Im going to be doing an adjustable nos shot of 50-150 so probably somewhere in the 125 range ill be takeing the show. I want to power adders cause i just want this thing going fast as hell. the nos probably is going to be down the line, depends on how much money i have left after all this stuff. Ill probably get diffrent pistons and I was thinking highly about diffrent heads as well. As for the knock sensor, im not sure. I plan on putting an MSD ignition is so.... The main reason for most of the stuff is because the engine is already built by a company so i gotta talk to them and see if i can change things on the motor. Do you think they'll be cool about it?

Yea thats what im thinking. They have 2 383s built one just says 383 stroker motor and the other says 383 tpi stroker and the tpi one is 1000 more, why does it say tpi when it doesnt even have an intake on it? Im hoping that they wont be a**holes and they'll do it for somewhat cheap, if not i guess i gotta get the engine sent here and rip apart everthing and do it myself than sell everything that i replaced
