i need a .184x.680 woodruff key for my crank snout...every place i went to only had like 5/16x2 or whatever

i bought an assorment of keys the sizes are

3/32x1/2
1/8x1/2
5/32x5/8
1/8x3/4
3/16x3/4

i've got them from my machine shop before. might want to try a industrial supply, like mc master-carr or granger, maybe even a tractor supply store.

It should be a modestly tight fit. Should have to tap it in lightly with a mallet.

Note that most SBC cranks use a key that is half-moon shaped. Flat on the top, rounded on the part that goes into the crank keyway. There are 2 identical ones- one for the timing chain lower gear and one for the balancer.

Just thought I'd throw that in in case anyone thought you could shove a Home Depot square-cut key in there.
