I need input on fuel delivery.
Well, I've got a 305 TBI.
I will be swapping a rebuilt 350 shortblock from a 70s truck sometime soon.
This engine will be mildly built with Vortec heads, Comp XE268H cam, and Edelbrock Performer RPM Air Gap manifold.
I want to know which is the easiest way to fuel it.
I have a spare holley 670cfm and carb adapter in the garage.
I'm wondering if it's worth my time to find someone to burn me a PROM.
I definitely DON'T have time to learn myself (unless it's as easy as you people make it out to be).
I don't own a laptop, either.
I don't really WANT to swap to carb, but I will if it's easy...
Which it looks like it's not, considering i need an AFPR and distributor etc.
This car will be my daily driver with exception to the winter.
Here are some questions I have.
[b]1) What's the easiest method in my case to fuel my car?
2) Can I learn how to burn my own PROMs in a few days?
3) Will the car even run okay with a stock PROM or do I *have* to burn it?
4) I've heard two different stories with the stock dist... can you use it or not?
I'm stressed out over this. I want to get my swap ready and done with. Thanks.

With the correct injectors (350 TBI Caprice or truck) and correct EPROM in the ECM, it should run just fine.
