SURE!!!!

but then you'll get a ses code permanently, and your car will have no idea of your exhaust content, and your gas mileage will probably drop

Why don't you just return the headers and buy the correct ones for your application? Are they already installed?

Also, may I suggest an English class be taken??

go to your local auto parts store, or look at jegs.com or summitracing.com

for a wire extention, you can't just cut the wire and splice
in a longer one,i'll foobar the signal.

IF you're going to use fuel injection, you HAVE to have an
O2 sensor, period, they're not that expensive for our
cars. Without them, the car never goes into closed
loop mode, the timing never gets advanced, you'll burn
up your cat from running too rich, you'll get amazing ammounts
of carbon buildup

to run without a computer, you have to drop the fuel
injection, at the very least. and that is expensive, where
as an O2 sensor is about $14 and a bung is about $5
and you can take it to a muffler shop and get it welded on for no
more than $30

a carb intake is about $400 to $1200 maybe? never priced one

If you just need 6" or so you can cut and splice in a piece of wire to lengthen it without any harm, just use wire equal to or larger diameter than the one going there now, don't use butt splices, solider it together with heat shrink to go over the splices.
