burp of air

is it normal to hear a "burp"of air or the sound of air escaping after you turn your car off ? Changing oil the other day, started car to check for leaks. Everything was fine and a friend walked by my car and I told him to turn it off. When he did that for about 2 seconds I heard a 2 second burp of air. car is l98 91 ta. Not having any other problems just don't know if I ever heard that sound before.....Is that normal ? Sounded near the distributor area.

Thanks

Was it like a hiss? Probably the motor pulling in a final gasp of air...I've seen many cars do it. It's not noticeable with stock intake, but with aftermarket/home-made intakes, you can hear it. My Camaro did it a LITTLE bit, but it was an LH0....my buddy's 4 banger Saturn did it too. Along with a few other random cars I dont remember.
Sounds perfectly normal to me.
