Anybody got an original timing chain cover from a 305 block they want to sell, My car has the chrome version minus the timing tab. This I have replaced with the mr gasget after markert one but it bolts to the side of the cover so I'v to remarked TDC to match the 0 degrees on the bolt-on tab. There fore I really dont know if its a true reading hence crap running. I have replaced the condenser with a spare which I think is a ford item so again isnt doing it much justice. Has anybody used the petronix 'ignitor system as I'll probaly invest in one for peace of mind.
the car has a dul point mallory dist & MSD coil.
