My car had a radar detector wired into it that the previous owner had done. Well it quite working so I uplugged it. Well when I started my car up all my guages were frozen only the speedo worked. My guages just sat there, the tach read 1500 the amps were 0 the oil was 0 the temp was 250 or 260 and the fuel said 1/2. I think it is a fuse but don't know for sure.

There is a fuse for the instruments in the fuse panel. That would be a good starting point. When the radar detector failed, it may have taken the fuse with it, depending upon where it was wired for power.

Thanks it was the fuse. It is fixed now a 25 cent part cuased my whole dash to screw up that is kinda funny but good that it wasn't anything major.
