Compression in a assembled motor??

Is there any way to figure compression when the engine is assembled??

I've got a +.020 400 with flat tops (small dish), 75 cc heads that are milled an unknown amount, and the block was decked an unknown amount.

I was just wondering if anybody had a way to figure a comp. ratio without cc-ing all components before installation.

Any way by going with a compression test reading?

There is a tool Nascar and other racing orgs use that measures compression ratio. I don't know of any other way.
