New way to run CAI on firebirds

i was messing around with some 3" aluminum ducting....you can run the ducting from the air cleaner over the top of the charcoal canister and into the fender well on the driver's side....you'll have to relocate your horn assembly thing to do it tho

Veg,

How far through the inner fender and toward the radiator lower air opening can you get the duct?

I've been planning to try this on my '86 since it looks relatively easy. Hoewcver, the TPIs have a tight layout and "Garbage Can" air filter assembly right next to the EVAP canister. Obviously, all air has to be routed there to flow through the filter and MAF.

I thought I would have to move the EVAP to accomplish that on my TPI. Got any photos?

it can go all the way down to the opening if you want....im assuming you are goin to run it on the passenger side since the battery is in the way....i checked on mine and there's enough clearance to go all the way down on both sides
