harmonic balancer horsepower?

Is there any horsepower to be gained by getting an aftermarket harmonic balancer such as a fluidamper? Any advantages to getting one over the factory balancer?

the advantages are better bearing life, and less engine harmonics.

i doubt there'd be any horsepower to be gained.

its always a good idea to keep an eye out for your short block, but i wouldnt bother on a stock motor. hell, the stock chevy balancers are pretty good.
