Maf
Maf
My maf has been disfunctional for a little while, but for the first week it ran okay. Now, after a long road trip it wants to stumble when it's cold, or after you drive it awhile, shut it off then fire it back up again. To get it to go anywhere I have to flutter the accelerator. My question is, could this be a result of the MAF, or is there something more behind this? More details: stock 86 Iroc with 305 tpi.

I is probably from having the MAF disconnected. You didn't notice it at first because it takes the computer a while to realize and adjust for the loss of the MAF signal. Why are you leaving it unplugged? Just waiting on a replacement?
It is not unplugged. What happened is, the kid I bought it from put some goofy air intake setup on it and the MAF electrical box hit the alternator fan and destroyed it. And yes, I'm waiting on a replacement, darn mail carriers, lol.
