Gages for a TTA

I am working on my brothers TTA. We are wanting to put a boost anf fuel pressure gage in to help tune the car. Plus, you crank the boost up until you get knock and the back it off 1/2psi. Well, its hard to watch for knock on the tubo liunk while driving. This means and audible knock sensor must be used that has a unit that sets in the car that uses a gage pod to hold it. THis means that I need a 3 gage A-pillar mount and I can only find 2 gage holder.

Anyone know where I can get one that holds 3?

Thanks
Brian

Most people use mechanical fuel pressure gages. They also mount them outside the car for obvious reasons. The turbo buick guys often times just mount them temporarily to get the tune on, then take them off. A lot of people also don't like the audible knock detectors, never used it tho, I've got the little lite up one. Usually when my dad and I work on the GN we take the test drives together, that way one drives and the other watches the scanmaster.

We are thinking of using the audible knock sensor so that Two people do not have to go on the tuning runs. If we hear knock... simply get out of it and the look at the turbo link to see what happened.

I need to ssee the fuel pressure to make sure it does what its supposed to do when boost comes up to make sure I am not outstepping my fuel pump.

So, where to get the 3 pod gage holder?

jegs has them for the 2 1/16" version guages. autometer makes them. they are $54.99 if i am not mistaken. go here to fine out more: www.jegs.com

if you go to use the fuel pressure guage inside the car, make sure it's an electronic one. running mech. fuel pressure guages inside the car is a big no no.

Lo tek use to make a 3 pod pillar, I know
I had one for my TTA, sold it and got a 2 pod.
Who knows they still might. If not, just get
the two pod, and get an audible from caspers
electronics, you can mount them under the dash,
out of site, yet you can still hear it.
