Snorkles for HO Air Cleaner

I have an 83 HO Trans Am and I would like to know if the dual snorkle HO air cleaner the plastic air intake tubes come with it. And if so does anyone know where I can get them. I haven't been able to find any and I have the one for the driver side. So, I really only need the passenger side snorkle. Hopefully, everyone understands what I'm talking about.

Thanks

I would like to know if the snorkle tubing is supposed to come with the HO air cleaner. I saw the tubing with the air cleaner online but I don't know where I can get it.

The passenger snorkle is hard to find. I think I got the last one from GM last year. Try http://members.***.net/iroczdave1/

Year one supposedly has them in stock. www.yearone.com or maybe yearone.com should do it.
Well, I don't see them in the online catalog, but the printed version still shows them.

Nobody sells them anymore. GM ran out of stock a couple years ago, and every other vendor soon after. Check EBay and our classifieds often. The pop up from time to time, but are expensive though.

FYI - the driver side snorkel and hose you already have are much smaller than the HO units. They will also require fabrication to fit.

You're looking for those too huh?

I need both hoses for my '83 HO Z28. I have no passenger side hose or scoop and no drivers side scoop.

You have a rare car there with an '83 HO TA... one of 665 cars i beleive.

My Z28 is one of 3223 with the HO engine.

I was able to get the hoses for both sides and the scoop for the passenger side about a year ago. The driver's side scoop was no longer available then.

www.ramairbox.com used to have them (not driver's side scoop) as well.

I FOUND IT!! Year One has all of the tubing for the HO air cleaner. Both left and right side tubes from the air cleaner to the front of the car, the flex tube from the exhaust manifold to the air cleaner, and the elbow from the valve cover to the air cleaner.

This is very exciting to me and should be for anyone looking for these parts.

Sadly though, the fact that GM stopped production of the actual air cleaner assembly remains true.

Call 1-800-Year-One for more info.

That's good to hear!! BTW...theres really nothing special about the heat riser tube or the air cleaner tube. Those are the same as LG4's.

Besides, this is another great opportunity to show my air cleaner again!!

You said you have a Trans Am right? They are only supposed to havea snorkel on the driver side and a connection to the cowl makes up the left side snorkel. It's a different assembly from the Camaro.
