ECM #s needed for 82-83 TA CFI

I am trying to find the factory ECM # for my car. It is a 1983 CFI Trans Am with the ol 305, & 700R4 tranny . I need to know what the ECM # would have been, as mine was cut out before I bought the car. Would an 1982 305 CFI ECM be the same?

no the ecm used in the 82 crossfire is a slower computer than the 83 and the trans in the 82 was a 200C with no overdrive and the 83 has the 700R4 with a computered controled OD system

Yes I know but I hate to see a unanswered thread. Not a lick of problems going home. Ran like a champ. Had fun coming up today, gave her a chance to strut her stuff a little and a always enjoy talking with someone who share my vision. Dont be shy if you come up with a idea for her. I am always open to new ideas and any help thrown my way.
