Neutral Safety Switch and back up light switch??
I was wondering if this Nuetral safety switch thing has to be adjusted on my car or not. How do I tell when it's time to adjust it? What is a nuetral safety switch anyways? Is it important? I think mine does need adjusting because everytime I shift into any gear, I dont hear the click like I used to when it was shifted into gear. Now, when I shift it, it doesnt LOCK into place any gear I shift in. I could accidentlly hit the shifter and ruin my trans. Please help. Thanks.

I would take the console off and look under there.
When you say shift into any gear, you mean you just tap it into drive from park, and back?

Yes then take the console apart and look at the bottom of the shifter. Their should be a metal plate that prevents it from going into reverse from neutral.
