?'s regarding block filler and knock sensor operation.

When filling a block for large stroke applications, how does it affect the knock sensor operation? Even doing a "street fill" (1 1/2 inches) covers the hole that the knock sensor goes into. Just curious. Replies greatly appreciated.

just about any amount of filler would reach the knock senser hole, since it's pretty much the low point in the block. not sure it'd change any thing since there already is a solid path for the sound waves through the block.
