recomend 350

I have a 92 RS 25th aniv. edition (305 tbi)
I replaced the 305 with a 350 (NEW)Goodwrench 350 tbi motor and am absolutely amazed at the diference. I kept the tbi the same, the Goodwrench rep says I can step up the injector size to reach the new motors potential. I kept everything the same (prom, fuel pump, tbi and stock injectors, etc) The power increase is unbelievable (for real). An even bigger surprise was the increase in gas milage, I get about 310 miles per tank, and to boot I cruised right through NJ's tough emissions inspection. I recommend this option to everyone, also motor has 3 year warranty, and I installed it my self!!!

its part# 12520268, its a 350 2 bolt, truck motor, its also as per the goodwrench rep. a camaro alternative motor. And yes my stock exhaust bolted right on, with no modification, and also no trouble with the oil dip stick being on the wrong side. The funny thing about the motor was that I purchased it from a GM parts warehouse for 1895. And then I checked out what a Checvy dealer would have charged me, and the Chevy dealer wanted 2800. And by the way the GM parts warehouse delivered it right to the garage that I installed it in (for free)... The real nice thing is that in the future, this motor allows me to do more as far as modifications and upgrades then that 305 could have ever allowed.

And yes I used the same throttle body intake that was on my 305, and yes it was the factory stock intake. As I said, everything that was on the stock 305 switched to the new 350 with no problem, I did however have to reuse one of the 305's valve covers (passenger side), because the precut holes were not going to work, also I extended a few vacuum lines so it wasent so tight. I did (as my preference) install a new oxygen sensor, but it was a replacement part I had originally purchased for the 305. I hope this helps.
