I tried a search, nothing seemed to help that much. Anyway here are the problems.

Not too long ago, when I would try to start my car, I would have to crank it about 3 times before the car wouold start. I ran the codes and it came up with an MAF code and a fuel pump relay code. I replaced the relay and it did not solve my problem. Si I've been dealing with that for about a month.

Recently, this problem has been combined with another starting problem, making me fear my car in the morning. Whe the car finally starts after three cranks, it doesn't start like it should. The engine putts and putts and bogs before finally starting to run correctly. It usually takes a couple of seconds of putting before finally running strong. My friends were teling me it was the fuel pump and I had a heart attack. But the fuel pump is not giving me problems otherwise. It runs pretty strong once it is running.

What could the 2 starting problems be? Thank you.

 

Just to clarify, are you still getting error codes?

 

Yeah, I'm still getting an MAF code. BTW, I realized that the hard crank problem only happens when it's cold, and the bogging problem only happens when it's hot. Help!

 

Which of the three MAF error codes are you getting?
