L98 vette heads on LB9
So, i've done a few searches and seems like this should be a direct bolt up. A guy i know has a set of aluminum L98 heads and 1.6 roller rockers sitting in his shed, and he'll part with them for cheap. w00t!
now, other than a having them ported and polished/cleaned up a bit, what else would you recommend?
how would these heads do with a regular 305(these heads could justify me getting a larger cam) and a HSR?

Sure, they'll work great!
Just port and polish them according to the instructions linked at the end of my sig. Then use a thinner than average head gasket to keep your compression up.
An LT1 cam would work nice
Headers and a 3" exhaust are also required

no need for 3" exhaust. keeping the quiet mufflers on. don't wanna **** of the neighbors too much.
but when i want to be heard, thats when the mccord power plate comes in handy. that thing is cool.
so if hte 85 block is hydralic, and the L98 heads are setup for roller...what does that mean?
