Car bogs or stalls after a long drive?

Its an 89 iroc, L98 with all the minor bolt ons. The problem is after I drive on the highway for an hour or so and I come to a light as soon as I get stopped it bogs and sometimes stalls if I don't rev it up a little. If I can keep it running it idles very irregularly and sounds like its gonna stall again. At first I thought it was a lack of gas when I was braking because It was always low when it did but today it was full when it did it. Its really embarasing when your tuff looking and sounding car stallsat a light.
Thanks

I'm guessing its an automoatic..

Does it still stall/run rough if you put it in neutral when coming to a stop??

If it doesn't, it sounds like a lockup converter soleniod.

It will feel like stopping a 5 speed car without putting in the clutch.

It's the stock 700-R4 with a shift kit, stock converter. I've never tried to put it in neutral before but somtimes it does the same when I'm parking the car, I put it into park and once the rpm's drop a little it stalls the same way. Also recently, last week it hasn't been starting very easily when its cold whereas it used to start right a way. I just put in new plugs, accel wires, and accel cap a couple of weeks ago but it didn't solve the problem

The lockup converter sol. would only cause problems in gear....hmmmmm

Vac. leaks??

TPS out of whack??
