Car will not start
Ok my car wont start and this is what happened. I had a transmission leak out of my speedo cable so I tightenened the speedo cable fitting at the trans. So I go to get in my car and it starts and it sounds as if my battery is sort of dead. I leave it alone for 2 days and now all my power is draining out of my battery and when i go to turn the ignition the engine has no click all my power is dropping low and my tach is shooting up all the way... can anyone help? Also before I tightened my tach cable it didnt work and neither did my speedo.
Anyone?
Anyone?
Fully charge the battery and load test it.
It appears that the governor cover is a little wet, too. Another leak there? Also, the speedo cable drive adapter/quill on the transmission is sealed by an 'O' ring. You might want to remove it and inspect the ring.

Thanks for the reply Vader, after removing the cable and reinstalling it my tach jumped to 75 grand and when I would turn the ignition the cable sounded like it was stripping it self out at the transmission. After letting my battery charge for a while it finally started. I thought I had a bad ground some where because the tach thing.
