Dead Ragtop is ALIVE !!!!!!!
Hi,
Sorry for posting a double here, but I noticed alot of people viewing the "One DEAD ragtop in my driveway" thread I posted.
Just to let everyone know what the problem was.....
It was the Neutral Start Switch.
This switch has some electrical silicon or grease in the switch and through the many years of use this grease managed to gunk up the copper contacts in the switch. They were very black!
I used some sandpaper to clean the contacts and the car started up just fine.
Please view my other thread for the whole story.
Hope this helps a few people down the road who may encounter this same problem.
