What year radiators can I use?
My radiator just died over the weekend and I put in a temp radiator, however it does not have a provision for the heater core lines...(temp's from an LG4 manual car)
So the question is what other F-Bodies can I find a radiator similar to my 89 RS v8 manual? I'm only looking for a regular replacement for winter. I'm taking a guess at 88+ manual v8 F-Bodies, but not sure...

I think you mean a provision for the auto tranny lines?
Any radiator will fit. Early 82-84 v6 models had radiators that didn't go all the way across the front of the car; so avoid those.
Of course the newer the radiator, the less buildup it probably has inside...
[edit]Oh I should mention too that you can remove the sidetank from your old radiator, and crimp it onto your temporary radiator. That is a major pain tho, and when I tried it, I had leaks (even with a new tank gasket). A radiator shop should be able to do it easily.

Tom not even close.
I got an auto v6 radiator in the shed right now. The radiator hose locations don't match. Probably make a good temp radiator for an LT1 swap, however.
I'm talking about the v8 radiator, there seems to be two different ones and I'm not talking stick vs auto.
Thanks for trying at least.

Hey man you asked if they'd FIT. You didn't ask about hose locations; in which case, you can use flex hoses instead of your original molded ones. Side tanks can also be swapped; but I think a v6 radiator won't have enough cores for you to use anyway.

FWIW the v6 radiator appears to be about 3" shorter and about 3/4" thick vs whereas the v8 radiator appears to be 1 1/4" thick...just guessing on numbers there.
Anyone know if I can only use a TBI radiator properly or if a TPI radiator bolts in properly too? If so does it have to be 87+, 88+ or 89+?
