I started my car up and it reved to 1550 then came down to 600 then went ba ba ba ba shaking at about 350rpms tehn died i started it up again and it died again and i gave it gas and it died got it running and it idled fine then a code came couldnt tell what it was though then the ses light went off would a bad IAC throw a code?

 

i had the exact same problem, started yesterday. Once i got it warmed up it ran kinda good, but still rough. I pulled the code and it was a 15. Means Low temperature indicated at engine coolant temp. sensor
i have no idea what this could be, but would also like to find out.

What kinda engine you running?

350 TPI but my engine was at 210* I had just got done with a 60 mile drive when this started happening.

 

I took my car (91' Firebird LO3) to get fixed about two/three weeks ago. It would have problems with the idle too. My ses light never came on but when the mechanic checked it it was throwing a code 54. Turns out it was a bad IAC valve, not something to do with the fuel circuit relay.
