Broke Something, Come In And Help

Well I did a little street racing last night, a good night. But today I take my car out and when I punch it, it starts bogging and bouncing from like 4000 to 4300 rpm and won't go over that. When I got home I revved the car in park and it went right on up to a little over 5000 rpm. Could it be the tranny or the torque converter??? I was thinking that I should run it in every gear and see what it does next weekend to see if one of the clutch packs is bad. I guess if it does it in all of them it could be the torque converter. It's a Dayco, I broke the first one they gave me at the strip. Anyone go through this before or have any ideas PLEASE HELP!!!!
