SES and ALDL (stupid me)

Well I got a SES light today, so when I got home I pulled the code. It was code 15, so I changed my coolent sensor, no big deal. Disconnected the battery for a minute to reset the ECM. When I went to start it though, no go. It turned over just fine, but no fire. So I checked for fuel, and man it was just pouring in. Tried a few more times with the same results. Then I realized that the A-B jumper was still in the ALDL So I took it out and it still wont start (turns just fine, but no fire).

So is my engine probably just flooded (it was dumping alot of gas in, there was a puddle in the intake afterwards). Can cranking it with the jumper still in the ALDL cause any damage to the electronics or anything else? Fuses maybe?

It can and will fry your TBI ecm. Been there, done that.

Strange this is.. I've accidently done that to my 165 and 730 ecms but they survived it.
