SES and ALDL (stupid me)
SES and ALDL (stupid me)
Well I got a SES light today, so when I got home I pulled the code. It was code 15, so I changed my coolent sensor, no big deal. Disconnected the battery for a minute to reset the ECM. When I went to start it though, no go. It turned over just fine, but no fire. So I checked for fuel, and man it was just pouring in. Tried a few more times with the same results. Then I realized that the A-B jumper was still in the ALDL
So I took it out and it still wont start (turns just fine, but no fire).
So is my engine probably just flooded (it was dumping alot of gas in, there was a puddle in the intake afterwards). Can cranking it with the jumper still in the ALDL cause any damage to the electronics or anything else? Fuses maybe?
