New Intake - Vacuum Line ?'s

I'm putting on Carb intake with TBI Adapter. Original intake had 2 vaccum fittings, one for brakes, one for other stuff - new intake only has one vacuum fitting, so I need to tree off this one fitting. All I can find is brass fuel fittings to create this tree - are brass fittings ok? Is that what everyone is using?

Someone mentioned heat from intake would not be good for brass fittings - brass expands/contracts differently than the aluminum intake and thus would create problems - thus my inquiry.
