rodney, it should pull air in from the front of the car.
here's one way to check it before you button everything up. wire the fan direct to the battery for a second, place your hand between the back of the fan and your water pump, and feel for air moving.
if you feel air being pushed out through the radiator, try reversing your wires on the battery, and re-check for air being pulled through the radiator.
if you feel air moving from the back of the fan towards the engine, it is indeed pulling air. then wire up the fan accordingly through however you're hooking it up (i'm presuming a temperature switch)
please note, don't leave it wired direct to the battery. hook it up to a temperature switch, or other method. also if the instructions call for a fuse (most likely so) make sure you protect it with a fuse.
best of luck

Thanks Robert, I have it wired through a switch where the fog light switch was. It is pulling air now, but I wasn't sure which way it was supposed to be going. And it is run through a 30 amp fuse.
Last week I had it hung from a rafter and cross tied to the wall and door. Put a battery on the floor and wired that sucker up, they can move alot of air. Cooled the shop down nicely.

how big of a fan is it? i saw a dual fan setup for a ford truck at summit racing last week that claimed to pull 5,700 cfm of air.
i bought a 16" fan back in may to put in the z28 after i goofed and left a mangled clutch fan in the car, which ended up trashing the radiator.
i think the 16" fan pulls around 1,800 cfm, and kept the LG4 (while it was still running) somewhere between 160-220 degrees. it's currently wired to come on with the ignition, but while i have the heads off i'd like to set it up for a temperature switch.
keep me posted on how the new 350 runs.... i'm kinda kicking the idea around of building one.

I hope to know how she runs tomarrow. That is if Comp can send the right pushrods this time. They are supposed to show up in the morning. This turned into a big project this time. I did the heads, changed the cam, differant intake, AC delete, rewired a bunch of the engine bay, and did the auto to manual swap. I am sick of working on this car.
