intake manifold installation

I just got done changing my lifters and I put the intake on using some kind of off brand sealer that the guy at autozone told me to use because they were out of the black rtv. That was a mistake, I put everything in and I started the car , I ran it for 10 mins , and then all the coolant leeked out of the top of the manifold , what kind of sealent should I use?

Ive always used Permatex Ultra Copper. But come to think about it ive never put any on a intake to head gastket, i only use it between the intake and block, on the frong and back.

if coolent leaked out it had nothing to do with what kind of rtv you used. be more of an operator problem, or you got the wrong gaskets, but you would of noticed that when you put them on.
